They were used to spend their time in the city of pleasure of Edo, and wear unusually flamboyant and strange outfits, behaving in a vulgar and irritating way.”
If you look at it from a different point of view, wasn’t the establishment irritating to the kabukimono? Yes! The ronin may have started as sword wielders but they evolved. We may be masterless but we still have honor. We are here to build the future.
